It seems strange sitting here in what would normally be the run up to our Civic Week with none of the Border Festivals in our neighbouring towns having taken place this summer and our own week also cancelled for the year. It is an unprecedented situation that we find ourselves in and we can only look forward to hopefully better times ahead.

This year our Silver Jubilee Coldstreamer is Sean Laidlaw and our Golden Jubilee Coldstreamer is Angus Maxwell. Unfortunately the current circumstances don’t allow them to celebrate their special anniversaries as they would have wanted. However we would like to congratulate them both on reaching these significant milestones and wish them well for the remainder of the year.

Please continue to show your support for Coldstream Civic Week in whatever way you can, and we’ll all look forward to next year even more keenly than normal after missing out this year.
